Race for Life

Okay, this goal kind of fell through this year, which is just too bad. I did find someone to do it with, but we never did manage to get it all sorted.

However, I’m not giving up yet, and next year, fully expect a renewal of this goal and, hopefully, a completion. :)

I decided today (after seeing a TV ad) that I’d like to do this this year. My stepmum did it a couple of years ago and said it was really good, and now I’d like to have a go. My real mum died of breast cancer, which spread, when I was about four, so it has kind of a personal thing too.

Well I only just decided this about an hour ago, so no concrete plans yet, but I’ve made the decision. Now I just have to convince some people to do it with me (already got at least one person in mind), and register.

I really hope this all works out. If I can’t find anyone to do it with, I’m screwed :( But with any luck, it will.
