We joined a CSA 9 months ago

I am excited about being part of a CSA this year! Sometime in June will be the first harvest. The shares will last until late October or early November. Can’t wait!

Buy Local... 17 months ago

The closest Farmer’s Market is open for the season on Thursdays. Unfortunately it was stormy this past Thursday. And the week before was the first with a limited amount of vender’s and almost no fruits or veggies yet.

The little road side stands are beginning to pop up around town now. We’ll start to patronize them for produce as well as the “locally grown” section of the grocery store.

Strawberry season has arrived! Yum.
