buy my own car

i’m still in england, but since i’ve been here my parents found me a new car. kinda sad that i didn’t get to pick it out and buy it, but yanno… i’ll survive.

it’s a 98 honda accord. a good little car, my dad’s been driving it. i won’t see it or drive it for another month or two. but it only cost about $7500. i didn’t buy it myself though… since i’m still in college, i can’t afford it. but this car should last me a while. i paid for $3000 of it. and i still want to give my parents another thousand at some point but i don’t know.

anywaaay this is still a goal until i buy my own car, completely on my own. that probably won’t be for a few years now. but oh well.

well, my current vehicle is dying… so it appears i may be fulfilling this goal sooner than i had hoped. i have money saved though… i’ll be spending about $2000 in england this semester, but that leaves about $3500 to go towards a car.

i really want a camry. or a mazda 6. or something. i’m not entirely sure, i just want a big car that’s going to last a long time. and not a civic. hehehe
