Make a list of things I need to do for my home and accomplish 3/4 of the list before the end of 2012.

1. The shades for all the upstairs windows were delivered yesterday afternoon. $322 including tax. I will start putting them up later today although the guy who ordered them for us is suppose to drop by and help sometime this week.

2. Bought two pairs of tiers for the kitchen picture window. I decided not to put up valances. I bought the curtain rod awhile back but now cant find the hardware (brackets and support rod) for it. Shame on me for opening the packaging up before I was ready to install it. Just another fly in the ointment of turning the house into our home. DONE

3. Towel rack needed for downstairs bathroom. Hubby wants to construct one using the old discarded plumbing fixtures to tie it in with the new. Personally, we could just go to Lowes or Menard’s and find what we need but this is his baby as is his old style sink and toilet.

4. Looking for ideas for the upstair’s bathroom.

1.Purchase new shades/curtains for upstairs’ bedrooms. Finally ordered although 2 months later.

2.Sort thru remainder of boxes of stuff brought with us that hasn’t already been gone thru and put away where they belong.

3.Things such as seasonal items which don’t have a place get put in boxes and taken to attic for storage.
4.Find an inexpensive solution to increasing counterspace and storage in kitchen. Brought in a wire rack that can be used for lightweight items. Still searching for increase counterspace.
5.Purchase curtains with valance for picture window in kitchen. I need to do this sometime this week.

Hopefully, I’ll get some of the things done this month.
