I have been concentrating on areas that need improvement the most. Maybe doing that isn’t the answer. I think next month I’m not going to worry about individual goals or areas that appear to be most lacking but try to improve the entire picture.

doesn’t leave much time to worry about self improvement. I’ve been managing to stay as hydrated and active as I can during this heat we are experiencing. I didn’t get much outdoor walking done but tried to make up for it while at work. Because this is vacation time at work, I managed to vary my routine each week so not to let boredom or complacency set in. I feel like I’ve been eating more healthy with raw veggies out of my own garden and fresh, in season, locally grown produce available at the grocery store. I looked for outdoor activities like swimming, gardening, outdoor chalk, bubble blowing and catching lightnig bugs for my granddaughter and I to enjoy rather then stay inside watching television when she stays over. That hasn’t been easy with the heat lingering on well after sunset much of the time.
Everything. During June, instead of catching up, I’ve landed on a plateau on weight loss. I’ve hit a roadblock on physical pursuits and haven’t bothered to seek acomplishment where it really matters.
Here it is July and half way thru the year and I’ve onlt six months to make a difference in my life. I still need to loss 15 pounds to be where I want to be on the scale. I’m as untoned now as I was at the beginning of the year in spite of my weight loss. I still need to accomplish a whole lot of things connected to my goals I want to mark finished by the end of the year.
Enough of the whining. Today is the first day of this month and I have a lot of things to do and places to go.
