happy afternoon

It’s been disgustingly warm and sunny in LA for weeks now, and such a wonderful day for a ride. We went to the Santa Monica library, about 30 blocks from home, to return books and snack at the cafe. Picked up a couple pairs of pants at Goodwill across the street before riding back.

The boyfriend will pump the tires and we’ll go riding today… my first day riding on the street since college days. Tomorrow we’ll ride to the farmers’ market. Now that peaches and tomatoes aren’t in season anymore we won’t have to worry about squishing them in the backpack when we ride.
