move in with my boyfriend

to me, because I’m carting stuff around between two houses and whatever I need is guaranteed to be at the other house. Like this morning. My cereal. And my boots.

Plus he never comes to my place, it’s always me going to his. I understand why – I have 2 flatmates, and he lives alone. My place is usually messy and that makes him uncomfortable.

But I’m so tired of it now.

He says he’s motivated too, if only so that I shut up! haha.

SUPPOSEDLY he’s talking to a property manager this weekend.

Let’s see how we go.

It feels like it’s getting a tiny bit closer. He has put our name down for a unit in his block which should be becoming available in November.
Things that I can do to help it include reassuring him that we’ll be able to work out any kind of problem that we come across. I’ve made lists of who’s furniture might go where, who will do what chores, and only brought these things up when he’s asked about them. It’s almost entirely me driving this, but he is naturally a very cautious person, and this is a very big step for him.
I know it’s the right thing to do though.
