I have some sort of natural reluctance to answer my mobile, and I don’t know where it comes from. I just don’t really like talking on it, even though I have it with me at all times. Truth be told I envy my boyfriend a little – he’s never had one. But the times it intrudes don’t cancel out the times in comes in very very handy.
I am now answering all calls I recognise straight away, even if it’s to tell the person I will have to call them back in an hour/day etc, because I’m in the middle of something.
I’m also getting better with numbers i DON’T recognise, although this just backfired as I picked up on a telemarketer.
