I’m not aiming to stop entirely, but am wanting to stick to the specified 14 maximum weekly units for women, and to have various days during the week when I don’t drink. Tracking units on a daily basis and totting them up at the end of the week is working quite well – last week was 12.5 units, the week before was 17 units, the week before that was around 12 units but I think I mis-recorded a day so it was probably higher, really.

Though it might not be in strict order of one day on, one day off, at least it will mean not drinking every single day in the week as it’s all too easy to do.
