I’ve always been fascinated by nature, and I don’t think you get to experince more of it than in the vast wilderness of Alaska.
Ultimately, my dream is to leave everything behind- taking what I need/want in the trunk of my vehicle and drive cross-country to a remote village in rural AK. In this fantasy, I’ll find a job at some bar or market and live in a tiny room right above it.
The ultimate rush comes in knowing nobody, being around nothing familiar or remotely comforting. I’ll be forced to reconcile everything inside, having nothing but time to reflect.
Sure, it will be a while before I can even do this- I have two kids at home, but this dream hasn’t faded since the day it crept inside and made itself at home.
I’ll let you know how it goes ;)
