I’m satisfied with myself on this one. I’ve met some good people, and I might not have without this goal in mind. So… very good, and yep.

if I actually call that lady, I will consider this done.

I found the park lady again- this time I got her number, so I wont lose her. Do you think this counts as three? I do, sortof. I will count this as done in a few days, when I’m not just doing it to make myself feel better.

this new girl in my building with the five month old.

The one neighbor lady is apparently too fond of letting her kid beat up other kids to discipline him, so even though she’s really nice I don’t think I’ll make too much effort to hang out with her (with him, anyway). The other neighbor girl should be around more often now, and is coming over for dinner sometime this week. I also talked to another girl who lives in the apartment they used to live in downstairs. I’ll go down and invite her over sometime next week, since this one is pretty full.

johanna and I have been hanging out more, alone, so I’m going to count this as one.

if I could make some of these work I’d be set.

Looks like I blew it with the park lady. I didn’t go last week with the excuse that it still looked like rain, but really, I was just having one of those days where I didn’t feel like doing anything at all. So… we went today, the day I would have thought would be the assumed replacement day… and she wasn’t there. So… yeah, I think I blew it. I’m getting really good at calling the rain, though. Unrelated, but cool.

I’m seeing the lady from the park again on the 1rst or 2nd… she’s nice. I like her. Hopefully we’ll get to the eyc more next week. None of the other contacts have come through yet, but everything takes time. I’m hoping to meet people I’ll like, too, not just more people. :)

today I realized that if I don’t make more of an effort with the women in my building, I’m gonna get left out, and also, I met a lady at the park who I’m meeting there on Friday. She seemed nice. anyhoo, this is going pretty well.

We’ve started hanging out with the people downstairs, and we’ve started going to the early years centre two days I week- and one of the ladies there has asked if I would call her, so maybe we’ll be able to go to the park together or something. So that’s:

I may need to try a bit harder.
