be neater

Well, yesterday I couldn’t find my MS Project software so I finally went through a ton of documents and did a HUGE purge. I filled 2 recycle containers with old documents, some as old as 3 years ago, which I never got around looking at. In addition, I purged old software boxes and manuals that I no longer needed. I’m still not done, but the office is starting to look useable instead of a dumping area. Who knows, in a few more weeks I might actually be able to use the area for what it was intended to be used for. So, I’m making ground and not giving up.

After 20 hours of organizing, filing and entering into my PC. All the paper is GONE! Woo hoo!

Ok, I went through the bookshelves where we have been storing old magazines and recycled 7 grocery bags worth of magazines that were more than a year old. Now the shelves have enough space to store our current books and magazines once again and the clutter is gone.

Ok, yesterday was paper recycling day. So, I started purging a lot of the over a year old magazines that I know I will never get a chance to read. The paper really was taking over the house, but now even though I only removed one box and one shopping bag worth of old magazines. The house is looking much more neater and less junky.

I have about 5 unused printer cartridges taking up space and since the printer that I order them for has been determined to be of poor quality. I bought a new printer and am returning the used toner cartridges today. Might as well get the money back AND get them out of my house. :)

Well, the papers are now filed away and I am down to one tray of various items to address. I’m going through those today.

The papers got hole punched last night and are getting filed away in folders TONIGHT.

I’ve gone through my stack of papers and have reduced the stack significantly by entering interesting or informative information into a file on my PC. This has allowed me to recycle a lot of the paper taking up space. Next, I am hole punching and filing the remaining papers to be organized in neat binders.

Well, the other day I entered a lot of my outstanding bills and weeded out a bunch of papers. I now have the papers I need to file in a stack for hole punching and filing, which is planned for tonight.
