So I completed A1.1 at the Goethe Institute, but I plan to do more.

Okay so I am no longer going to Germany =(
I’m very sad.
But I did meet someone who went to Germany for two years just for fun so there’s hope for me yet.
This isn’t even about just the language anymore it’s about living there!

So I decided not to learn a language as close to English as this in university so I went out and now I have these resources:
Pimsleur basic series
FSI Mastering German
German phrase book
German beginner’s dictionary
a bilingual Deutsch-English poetry book (by Paul Celan, no less!)
and German Made Simple
between doing and reading a bit of these whenever I sit down for a second, I think I’ll manage in the long run.
I know it isn’t grammatical but Ich liebe Deustch!

I’m not sure whether or not I want to do this anymore…I don’t know if I should delete this goal or not. It is on a definite hold, though.
