Hey there-
I just checked my credit card and internet banking and it appears i was spending $150 on average on monthly groceries…
In the last two weeks i have started cooking, baking, making soups/stews and really being resourceful about nutritous (and cheaper eating)... my boyfriend and are aiming to cut down to $75 per month TOTAL in grocery bills… while still eating tonnes of fruit, veggies, healthy protein etc…. will keep you in loop as to my progress!
hey all
i realized that my consumer spending result in over $5000 in credit card debt- ugh…. i realized that that was costing me at least $40 a month in interest (probably more) I paid them off pretty much completely.
I also looked at the charges on my visa and realized they dinged me for ‘balance protection insurance’ that was costing anywhere from $7 to $35 a month depending on my balance. So, by paying off my cards and cancelling my card insurance, I am saving me about $70 a month not including the huge payments i was paying to the balance…. feels fantastic! i’ll put that extra money towards saving!!
Hey guys-
Instead of buying magazines for my week long cruise, i sent out an email to my company asking to borrow some people’s old ones…. instead of buying reading material i am actually going to read some of the books in my bookshelf… i am started to become addicted to being frugal!!!
Hey there;
My boyfriend and I always grocery shop- sometimes two times a week. We often stuff our fridge and freezer (s) with so much stuff that we run out of room!
For the past two weeks I have forced us to actually study what we have and can make meals out of. It is so much less wasteful and is saving us big bucks. All those frozen bags or fruts and veggies that used to just sit there and finally being consumed!
Hey there-
I just called my wireless service provider and got on a new plan for a savings of an additional $20 per month….
so far in two days I have saved myself $42 a month from cutting out a few non – essential things in my life…
feels great!!!!
Hey guys! My first taste of success…. i have been subscribing to a e-diet system that i never use, so I finally cancelled it… savings? $22 a month!
Wow- it felt great- that money is going directly to my retirement savings plan … :)
hey all
even though i earn a six figure income i am still in alot of debt ($5000 plus in credit card debt)
I want to cut down in spending and find fulfillment in less material things…. can’t wait to blog about this in weeks to come!!!
