go on an adventure

I went on a lot of ‘adventures’ this year!
I went to Chicago with my little sister on the train without any guidance from my parents, figured stuff out, got my passport.
I flew internationally for the first time, and I flew by myself.
I went to another country!
I spent 48+ hours on my own in another country!
I stayed at a hostel in a room with other girls I didn’t know, by myself!
I drove plenty of new places.
I tried things that scared me.
I have been more adventurous for sure this year :)

Emily and I took a trip to Royal Oak to see Bright Eyes—we decided to not drive on the highway and instead drive 80 miles through beautiful roads lined with farms and quiant little downtowns.
We took the highway on the way home.
I got pulled over for not moving lanes when there was a stopped emergency vehicle (A cop probably writing a ticket) on the shoulder. I didn’t get anything but a warning because I was pleasant, friendly, honest, and also probably cute, young, female, etc. Plus I have a clean driving record.

33 days until Europe—now that’s one big adventure!

I’d like to think my business trip counts! I drove there, found it, met all these new people, explored the down town, got myself home!

But… I think going to Ireland is going to be a bigger adventure!
