backpack through Europe

Ok, sooo backpacking trip is coming together quite nicely for how early it is. I’ve narrowed down the countries I want to visit, and all thats left is to find one more person to go with me, and to make sure my plans are cool with everyone else. As of now, I’m planning on Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, somewhere in Denmark, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Nice, Monte Carlo, Geneva, Dublin, Edinburgh, Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and of course London. Where the plan gets tricky is if we want to go to Copenhagen Denmark, we can go to Sweden too, cause it’s very close. But, if we’re planning on going to Rome too, thats kind of out of the way, so we need to make a decision. SOOO many possibilities! Ahhh! lol

So now it sounds like my friend Sara may actually be up to the whole backpacking thing…It’d be fun…but I’m still worried about her…I’d almost rather have one of my other friends go with me, but I don’t know, none of them are even remotely interested in backpacking. Why does no one have a sense of adventure these days? :( I know it’s kind of a long way off to be fretting about all this stuff, but I don’t know…these things never come through for me, so I want it planned, set in stone, to go, very, very, very faaarrrr in advance. Ahhhh

So I’ve been going through and I’ve completed my 43 places. And all I can say is that how much orange I have on my map is saddening. I though I was pretty well traveled. Hahaha…no. So, Im going to do it. I’m doing it next summer. I don’t care who goes with me, or if I have to go alone. I’m taking a month and going to backpack Europe. I’ve only wanted to do it for my whole life, so I’ve decided I’m not going to wait. I’m done waiting for the right time. I’m doing it. I’m planning it this year and going next summer. Especially if I get my Insurance Liscense, in which case I’ll be getting paid more/hr, plus commisions. By that time, I’m going to be 20. I’m done waiting. I don’t want to put this off forever. And you know what? Who knows how long I’ll live? I could die tomorrow and never have gotten to do the one thing that I’ve so despereatly wanted to do for so long. So I’m doing it. Period.

So, I’ve actually been to 6 Countries in Europe: England (London, Bath, Windsor, & Oxford), Italy (Venice, Naples, Pompeii, Livorno), France (Nice, Eze), Monaco (Monte Carlo), Spain (Barcelona), and Portugal (Lisbon), but I want to go for longer. I want to get more in depth. My friend Sara and I are planning on going next summer, and I’m super excited about it.
