I have been a “scrounger” since I was a kid. Finding decent things in trash on curbs and trash bins. There is nothing wrong with it. Would love to report what I find as I do this often. I am always finding wood for different projects that I enjoy doing. For example recently, while not being a curb find, I procured a load of free old barn wood. This makes great bird houses etc. Has that great weathered look.
I even recently while driving in my neghborhood on my way to work scrounged some wood from a neighbors curb, went home teh following week and made a birdhouse from it. Decided to leave it on there porch with a note from me (anonymously) as a gift. :) Kindof fun doing this undercover repurposing. :) Anyways neat idea for a goal.
