Perhaps the best silent film ever! Not that I am any kind of authority on that subject as a whole. I think that “Modern Times” by Chaplin is also very good!
One can not help but to be entertained by the very well executed slap stick comedy and the heart string pulling of the human touch of mans love for child.
Chaplin no stranger to most of us even the younger ones today know Chaplin. Jackie Coogan, the adorable little child in the film who is just an amazing actor especially for his age. He was later better known as Uncle Fester from the Adams Family Series in the 1960’s
Surprisingly I am rating this film as one of my all time favorites! It will get a 5.

Got some movies on reserve at library. This really is a great resource! Will be starting this list this weekend as I have to get over there and pick them up.

I looked at the list and I lack about 102 movies I think. I have seen 3/5 ths of them allready. I have put on hold several from library and will begin watching. I did the top 100 about 10 years ago that came out from AFI’s top 100. SO that helped with this list as well. SOme foreign movies or “films as they say I have not seen.
