play with my cat more

I put an old shoelace by my bed that she picks up and drags it to me when I’m laying in bed watching tv. This kind of forces me to play with her until the string is no longer interesting. I also take her outside with me and let her eat grass and pretend she’s a big cat in the wild. Gives me an opportunity to pick up the yard and do a grounds check of the property.

My cat is such a loner when it comes to other cats, she fights with them. I’ve heard it’s her breed that’s like that. So as a result she’s an only pet. Although she’s one that needs a lot of attention and love from humans. Kind of saddens me to know she sits at home alone while I’m at work, especially if I go out with friends after work. I just need to spend more time with her.
