I’ve done a little bit here an there – for an environmentalist organisation mostly, but I would like to make a serious attempt at it. I don’t think it is a serious proposition till I cut down my work hours to part time though.

I think that volunteering is not just about the mistaken impression that you are saving the world. I think it is about feeling good about yourself and meeting people, and making a very small but very important difference.
