speak more Spanish

mi espanol is grwoing mas grande todos dias. everyday. shit’s sick. i find myself thinking in espanol sometimes and am fortunate to be able to learn mas everyday from the people that i work with. to be fluent. hell yah.

basically i suck. it’s been weeks since i’ve attempted any espanol at all. i need to check out a cd from la biblioteca on my way out of here before work. no mas tiempo to stall if i am to become uno con la linguista de espanol.

totally cool that i work with one of the coolest little craziest mamacitas…she teaches me more words everytime i work with her. she writes them down on paper. my period es mi fuck…can’t remember and of course i think i lost the paper…maybe es en mi bolsa en la coche. so she’s mad cool and all about teaching me espanol. es buena

todas las dias por estudiar espanol. es muy buena con las muchachas at las dos trabajos…yo aprendo nueva palabras todas dias y ayer was apio (celery) y espinacas (spinach) y yo como las chapalenas (grasshopper) . es muy buena. i got cds from la biblioteca ayer y will escucho mucho y viajo a baja SOON!! con la plancha tambien.

sanaorria is carrot. that finally clicked after more than 24 hours of trying to remember the damn word for carrot. yo corto a sanaorria con la cochilla…maybe that is i cut the carrot with a knife…something like that. this shit will so become like the second language i’m gonna make it be.

so stoked…both my new jobs i am working with a few people that speak spanish and a little english so we can help each other out and it’s bad-ass. now i can practice every day since i am working seven wonderful days a week right now. today i learned how to say carrot, repeated it like seven thousand times all day and still can’t remember what it is to save my life. cebolla es onion en ingles pero con la carrot i draw a total fucking blank….

i talked to a little mexican guy who was cutting trees where i was delivering flowers today and i spoke to him in as much spanish as i could, pero es muy dificil para mi. i can’t seem to remember a lot that i know my brain knows and i wish i could speak it everyday with somebody. so hard to learn more when you don’t use it everyday…
