get out of debt

I guess this is a way just to keep myself motivated by keeping tabs on this site…after having 12k on the evil plastic things, im now only at 4k! (well..bouhgt myself a plane ticket worth 2k, but not including that in my evil replayments!) ha! Only thing is, im in a job that im not liking so much, so I cant leave yet! Have to pay the rest off! No long to go…

OK, so its been a week since I decided to attack all of my credit cards and tell the world about it. It’s been a week, and I have so far managed to sell $150.45 of my stuff on ebay…small steps but all necessary to get me head above it…crap..didnt think it would be so hard! Its sooo easy to spend…but to reverse the action???geeeeez!

*UPDATE* 29 Jan 06. 1 from 3 CREDIT CARDS ARE GONE FROM MY LIFE YEAHHHH! paid it off in full and boy does it feel good! it looks like the second one will be gone in about 2 weeks time..and then i’ve got the mother of all cards to get rid of….progress feel great!!! xox

I’ve had the epiphany that I needed last year!...I’ve paid off 3 credit cards…now have 3 to go…I start a new job next month with more cash per month so that is a relief. But my goal is to be out of card debt in 5 months, and move out by June ‘06. I currently have $12k AUD in card bills I’ve just resorted to selling by bits and pieces on ebay..which I never thought I would do!! but its a start…at least it will give me a lighter load to transport when i move…along with the cash I need to pay off my bills!!!
