I am still nervous. I mean, soloing?

I realized something. With my private teacher, once a week, I’ve been working on certain books, and it takes about 8 months to finish one, I work on two at a time. Now I see that, really, I can just sit down and do the books myself, and then go over them with my teacher.
I would be much better if I didn’t have just one teacher, but two. (me) I could very well teach myself, so why not? If we try, we can all teach ourselves.
The best book to really help you get better is getting back to basics with Carmine Appice’s “Realistic Rock.” It’s pretty much the best set book ever! =] (Plus nowadays it comes with a cd with carmine playing.)
