The past couple of weeks many of my friends who are also artists have asked how things are going with the store front. So instead of answering the same questions 100 times a day, I’ve decided to put the progress online.
I’m building a Tiddly about it right now.
If you want to know what a Tiddly is, take a look

You can use it online or offline, but it’s easier to set up offline as a personal notebook.
However I want something that works smooth online without any huge effort to set up, so a combination of the two suits me fine.
Right now I’m trying to figure out how to save the changes I’ve made ;) Nothing is ever easy.

What I want to do is to open a combined store front/art studio. I’m an artist since 20 years back that uses mixed media – anything from 3D to traditional art, and my goal is to combine these and sell prints, orginals, postcards and so on.
I want to be able to work in the same premises as I have the store, mostly because a lot of people are interested in how it’s all done, but few get the chance to see it.
But it takes money to do and a bank loan will be required. And that’s where I am right now. I have a business plan that the bank have approved to, I still need to get the premises, but that will have to wait until I know for sure I have the money.
The problem is that I’m not from the UK. I came here a bit more than a year ago and I have no credit history at all, so the bank is what can stop me now.
And if they say no I guess I will have to try to raise the funds elsewhere.
