grow my own veg

I planted a bunch of broad bean plants, and five iceberg lettuce plants this week and fingers crossed they are surviving the slugs so far. I don’t even really know if I like broad beans, but I figured I can’t just grown tomatoes.

My garlic has sprouted! It’s just the start of the empire!

well I finally planted some Garlic last week, so fingers crossed I might be able to make my own garlic bread!

ok, Clive the allotment man has called me and let me know i’ve definately got the plot he took me to look at, that a contract was dropped off at my house but I didn’t get it, and that as from today I can start digging down there! One step closer to growing my own veg…

It’s not much, but it’s mine all mine…

WEll, it’s another step closer- I have to meet a man at the allotments on Friday to go and see the plot that is available for me. Fingers crossed it’s not all covered in weeds…

I just got a letter to tell me that i’ve got a space on the allotment, just down the road from my house- so at least now i’ll actually have somewhere other than tubs to grow my own veg in.
