why couldn't i have thought of this years ago??

nearly every job posting i see now is for a social worker. What gives?? I want to be one so bad. the time and energy and finances to do it again if i have to go back and get another bachelor’s is still overwhelming right now. I think I will still wait within my 2 year limit to make a decision on more schooling.
on the other hand. having a degree is such a joke. Most places want you to have a master’s or even a phd it seems with 10 years experience in the field you are wanting to work in. which makes no sense. many people don’t have time or money to get several degrees. and while they are getting them. who is so lucky to have all that experience in one field??
