Build a computer

Well, Yvonne has a brother now, but I didn’t make him. I’ve been calling him ‘Pepík’ (a Czech form of Joseph, pronounced ‘pe-peek’). He was a hand-me-down from my grandfather and needs some minor upgrading and tinkering. In other words, he needs a new hard-drive, a new OS, maybe some more RAM, new video and sound cards, and maybe even a new tower. I may just put the parts I want in my ultimate dream machine in him until I finally have all the parts (and funds) to build it.

My current PC, Yvonne, is damn near ancient in terms of computer lifespans. I still love her. After all, she does everything I need her to… well, almost everything. Her processor is just too old, too slow. I have no intention of getting rid of her, but perhaps I’ll just make her a brother.
