This was a suggestion of Malc, who has been through the same thing I have. He’s the first person I’ve ever come across who knows how it goes from experience. It’s so much better than listening to a physician tell of how it feels when they haven’t been through it personally. Obviously Malc has been a great help, so we find we’d like to compare our scars! As silly and as cheeky as it sounds(!), I think we’d share a good laugh doing this, eh?
So after I got the the cast off my right leg (this was two weeks ago), I finally got the chance to see what the ‘healed’ product looked like. It’s not at all pretty, so even if I could show it, I probably wouldn’t!
Malc has told me that it gets better and won’t look as bad, (and I didn’t know it would at all!) so I’m not quite sure he even knows how reassuring he’s been. Thank you again, Malc. : )
