argh, will I ever manage this? And will I hate calling any place as much as I hate calling Sallie Mae? Every time I call I end up speaking to someone in India who “says” his name is “Alan” or “Fred” or something completely unbelievable. I then spend at least ten minutes trying to very patiently explain my question, then they invariably hang up on me “accidentally” while transferring me. When I call back, they usually end up sending me to the American customer service group because my loan situation is so convoluted and they just can’t figure it out. Hate hate hate hate hate calling them. Plus they never have good news for me.
Here’s to $611 a month for what will be eternity…
