Crystie has written 20 entries about this goal

I know I've read more books so far this year that I can't remember.

I don’t always remember to come on here to post them, and I don’t always make a list.

I need a list though. I also need a list of what I already OWN, so that when I go into a bookstore I’m not spending my money on books already on my shelves or in my closet.

I realized when I was in the middle of chapter 1 of the last Amanda Quick I read before this past one – was it “Don’t Look Back??” – that I had already read it. That means it is probably somewhere on my bookshelf – or perhaps it is in a box in the garage with some of my other paperbacks.

I think the titles are a main reason I can never remember with particular authors. For instance, I can’t really link “Don’t Look Back” with the plot of that particular book, so I’m not sure why she called it that, and I’m not sure I’ll ever remember that title and may end up buying it again thinking its a new book!

Late for the Wedding
Amanda Quick

I hope this isn’t the last one she writes about Tobias and Lavinia. I like them as characters quite a bit!

But now that he has proposed, perhaps she thinks the story is pretty much tied up?

Sigh.

Financial Peace
by Dave Ramsey

Most of this was good, but some of it is slightly unrealistic. Like the part about finding a savings account with a 10% interest rate, or the part about not having student loans…

Although – considering when this book was written – perhaps it was possible back then.

I want to start some of his plan soon – this coming friday, for my next paycheck as a matter of fact!!

And another Amanda Quick:

Don’t Look Back

#16

I’ve moved on to Amanda Quick for a while.

Just recently finished:
Wait Until Midnight

#15

A nonfiction book FULL of eye candy.

The Artist Trading Card Workshop by Bernie Berlin

Quite possibly one of my favorite altered artists!! Once I realized she had written a book, I ordered it within 24 hours :)

#14

And one more nocture (for now):

Persecuted

This is the second book in a small series by this author about a witch hunt. I had read the first last year (Haunted) and was WAITING for this one to come out.

And now I can hardly stand the wait for the third :)

#13

And yet another Nocturne… I’m telling you the price is a huge factor in my buying these when I make it to Walmart :)

And this one had a really great plot!

I’ll have to look for the next Pamela Palmer book.

#12

Another nocture, better than the last:
Blood Secrets

Kind of like CSI with vampires :)

#11

A Nocturne:

Blood Son

Not that great, but not horrible either. It was probably worth the three bucks I spent on it…
