Nerd Gone Wild
The Medusa Prophecy
This one was interesting enough that I want to check out the other books in the Medusa series by this author :)
Dead is the New Black
Another silhouette nocturne novel.
I like these because they are cheap at Walmart, and there’s usually one a month that interests me.
Princess Academy
By: Shannon Hale
A Newbery Honor book
I really, really liked this one! It was so interesting, and it’s books like these that make me wish I were an English teacher! A little bit of fantasy, mostly just a regular MC, royalty, battles, even a rat!
I want to write a book that makes it on the Newbery list…
Carpe Demon
by Julie Kenner
This one was an impulse buy at Walmart, and I loved it! Very interesting – one of those books you start reading and then just have to finish :)
I’ll have to check out her other titles.
Cry of the Wolf by Karen Whiddon
This one was a cheapie Silhouette Nocturne. It was okay, but not as good as the first nocturne I bought a month ago. And the other Nocturne out this month doesn’t sound great either, so I won’t bother to buy it. Interesting to think of, though – a werewolf who can’t change into a werewolf. . .
This is a book that I had set out to read in the tub, and the dog walked into the bathroom while I was getting a towel and knocked it into the water. So it’s a mess, currently, and will probably need to be thrown away.
Mad Jack by Catherine Coulter
A re-read, because this is one of my favorite series by Mrs. Coulter. It had been so long since I read this one, though, that I had forgotten some of it. It was great :)
