I specificall y had in mind one journal I had seen at my fave bookstore and went back to it just in time to get the last one and begin my endeavor. I have a very specific purpose for this journal as well. The journal is to be honest, however, positive. A reflective tool not to be filled with whiny drivel. The journal must be updated frequently to create flow since time moves soo fast on the daily.
Cynthia Schofield has written 2 entries about this goal
which will enrich me spiritually. I decided that after years of just writing when I had a whim that I would finally start a journal to help get things out of my head. Well, it took about a year and I can confidently say that I have begun my very first journal. The journal is consistently updated because it is important to me as is what it contains. As I go back and read my entries it’s like going back in time already. I have experienced this before in spurts when encountering an old love letter or anger letter(you know the ones) I now feel as if something is complete and some of the dots are connected for me. Life happens quickly and writing it down does sort of slow it down and capture a moment like a picture for me. I have always had a talent for writing and I hope that someday the journal will come in to use for some greater piece.
