Getting in shape — 2 years ago
So, I’ve been reluctant to start working out again because my knee is pretty messes up. Even sitting in a chair it sometimes feels like its litterally ripping off my leg. There is a terrible tearing pain.
None the less, I started running. First night I made it 1/2 mile, second night 1 1/2 miles. Now I’m not running the entire time, but I’m moving. I rigged up the treadmill in the basement, and set up a TV at eye level, so instead of sitting on the couch watching TV, I can burn a few calories. I haven’t started eating better yet, but it’ll be a big step considering my lifestyle.
Baby steps for now.
