sigh...not doing well at all with this  — 1 year ago

Since I have changed my goal to everyday instead of 3 x a week, I have skiped 5 days. No excuses. I need to be more disciplined. I will exercise everyday at 10 am everyday, starting today.

I have exercised everyday for 20 min, the last few days usually in the afternoon. Same program on the eliptical the heart rate/ aerobic. I’ve mostly stayed on pace except on level 10 resistance. I guess after 2 more weeks I may step up to 40 min a day.

Well today I exercised earlier than I have been, definately worked up a sweat. And I believe it helped me feel better too. I was in a bit of a funk. but after exercising and a shower I felt better. did the heart rate program for 20 minutes, it’s the hardest I think, it gets your heart pumping.

Today I did 25 min, a resistance program. I skipped yesterday, well went about 5 minutes but that might as well be skipping.

I exercised for 20 min on the eliptical yesterday with the heart rate program. It has a target zone I pretty much stayed on target most of the time.

I tried the ifit.com program with the eliptical today, 50 min at various resistance levels. I think I will take my boyfriends advice and only workout on the eliptical for 30 minutes a day, when I can. He also showed me more weight training on the home gym. my upper body definately needs more strengthening than my legs. I can’t go from rarely exercising and jump into pushing myself to doing an hour or more a day of exercising. got to go slower.

Today I did 65 minutes on the eliptical. still learning the programs. did the heart rate, and resistance, and a manual program. I signed up for ifit.com that is recommended with this machine, nordic track eliptical. so this should help me learn what programs are best for me.

I went 36 minutes on the eliptical machine Monday, skipped Tuesday and 40 minutes yesterday. 35 min today. I haven’t been working out on the home gym, lifting weights but I will.

Exercise at least 3 times a week  — 2 years ago

Well we bought a home gym, weights and such, and an eliptical machine a few days ago, i think it was exercise just putting the machines together,lol. I have started out slow, I don’t want to get too sore. I like the eliptical glider alot. I did 10 minutes on that yesterday. it’s actually quite fun. With my boyfriend’s help I lifted some weights, bench presses, rowing, and a few other lifts I don’t know the names. We made a chart with the dates and types of exercises, and reps (how many times i think). my boyfriend knows the terminology alot more than I do. I’m out of shape but looking forward to getting in shape and feeling good.
