Make new friends

Met up with an old friend today. We were really close in junior high, but went to different high schools and went our own separate ways. It was really good to see him again, and I’ll definitely hang out with him more.

Yea, he’s not exatly a NEW friend, but a good, old friend is probably even better than simply just a new friend.

Back when I used to go to a church, I had a large group of close friends there. We did everything together, and I gotta say that it was a lot of fun and they were all awesome. We were awesome. But I left all that when the church started to put a lot of pressure on me. Many of them were hoping/expecting me to become a pastor despite my protests. It was a hard decision, but I left the church and decided to cut off as many ties to it as I could.

So now, I’m looking to make new friends. It’s a bit hard for me since I haven’t made any new friends in years since high school, but I’m determined to do so.
