I woke up at 7.30 today and finally got out of bed around 8, tidied, had a shower, now i feel fresh, sitting in front of the computer checking emails with an apple and some oats. I feel so refreshed and in control of my day already, rather then doing everything so rushed! And I forgot how the sun has a different shine to it in the morning! Looking forward to keeping this up if its made such a change already :)

Ive never realised how important this is to do! i definately notice a big change in my mood and productivity when my morning is in order. At the moment i’ve been sick for nearly a week now and because of this i’ve been waking up after lunch, then doing nothing very exciting at all for the rest of the day apart from resting.. and its really getting me down not just physically but mentally too.I always get like this around exam break and the mid year break is coming up and i do not want to waste the whole holiday sleeping.
I’m aiming for my mornings to look something like this:
8.00 am – wake up, make bed tidy room/house briefly
8.05 am – brush teeth, shower, do hair + face etc
8.30 – meditate ( I’m new on this so for me this basically means taking a good ten minutes out to relax and clear my head)
8.40 am – have a healthy breakfast/ tea while plan day/check emails/ set important tasks
I’m going to try fit in my aerobics video before my shower every second to third day
