going for my second attempt 12 months ago

i quit smoking with help from the patch for about 4 months before i started again, it’s been 3 years… i’ve been a smoker for 8. I think it’s time to give it my all.

my fiance was a smoker when i met him, but he has stopped (about 2 years). I feel bad smoking around him, as i should. I’m going to quit on January 12th. I will not have my hellish job anymore (28 days and counting:) and I will be starting a new semester at school (so i’ll be able to focus on something)

i’m going to quit cold turkey this time. i don’t like the idea of weaning. It seems to me that it’ll be better for me to just end it… just like that.
