fall in love...again

so, i’ve been using this quote from the three amigos at work lately. when someone is funny i say, in my best el guapo-like voice, “i like these guys. these are funny guys! too bad i have to kill them”. i made a new friend at work and out of the blue he said that same quote, in the same el guapo-like voice! i was stunned, and when i told him we might be MFEO, he didn’t go sit somewhere else, and continued to keep me in stitches for a good 45 minutes.

He called her, wanting to take her out for ice cream. She politely declined because she had to work (and she did), but she still felt guilty. Truth was, he was a perfectly nice guy but (and there’s always a but) she daydreamt of someone else. All of her life she had hoped that the one she was daydreaming about would call and ask her out for ice cream. Maybe today just wasn’t her day.

He laughs heartily at my jokes. This could be love.
