Sadly, he walked by me several times when I was backstage at their show last year. I was only backstage because Taking Back Sunday are my friends. So we were hanging out with them, and I didn’t want to be all “fanny” and tell him my story about “dude ranch” and how that cd kept me sane during a very unstable time in my life. I did, however, manage to pick on Mark Hoppus’ ugly laugh, and Eddie from TBS introduced me and my friend to Travis.
So…I saw him up close at least? and watched their set from the side of the stage, which was SO surreal.
