I think I might have found a church. It is about 25 minutes away from me though … although there is a cell group in my area. It is very very diverse, racially, linguistically, classwise, and agewise (although the people tend to be a bit younger). I love it. The preaching thus far has been good – biblically sound yet charismatic. (This has been a difficult combination to find). I am excited!!!!

I went to a church close to me yesterday. It was nice but not for me. I realized that I am actually part of a church. We meet on Friday nights. I thought that because we eat together, then worship and have bible study that it wasn’t a church service. But you know – it is church. I’m really wanting to be close to them though.

I met a lady on Saturday who was telling me about a church that is near her. I felt drawn to it, and will go next. I have a feeling that I will be part of that church as well as the one on Friday night. So I might end up being in two churches …
