Start playing the flute again

When I was in 10th grade, I had been playing the flute for 7 years. There were times when I really wanted to stop playing it but my parents always convinced me not to stop doing it and I’m actually really happy about that. But about half a year ago, when my flute teacher moved away and because I knew that I was going to America two months later, I decided to stop playing it and now, I haven’t been playing it for about 8 months or so.
But because it is actually fun and I like playing the flute, I definitely want to start doing it again, at least when I’m back in Germany in half a year. I also want to go back to my school’s orchestra in Germany that I had been playing in for 4 years before i came to America.
I love playing the flute and I actually only realize that now that I haven’t been doing it for quite a while. I don’t want the time that I spent practicing etc. to have been for nothing.
