8 cups is only 4 of those half-liter bottles of water—very do-able.

one day without drinking enough water wreaks havoc with my sinuses, ability to get a good night’s sleep, back pain, energy, stamina, flexibility… I’m sipping from a bottle of water now though.

Have you ever tried True Lemon or True Lime (http://www.truelemon.com/) in your water? It’s like putting a wedge of lime or lemon in your bottle of water …very refreshing. It comes in little packets which are easy to keep in a wallet or purse. I’m not crazy about sweet drink (sugary or even artifically sweetened)—so this works great for me.

I’m having more success with this goal than any of my others. Maybe I can transfer my process to other goals. The more water I drink, the more I want to drink. I started out moderately, and increased steadily. I make it easy for myself, by having bottled water near at hand. And I’m aware of how much better I feel when I’m hydrated fully.

I check 43 things every day, and each time I see my “Drink more water” goal, I go get a drink. I’m drinking more as a result. Yesterday, I noted the immediate benefits of drinking water (energy, sinus relief, mental clarity, less bloat, less back pain). This morning I also realized I slept better too.

Just finished my second pint of water today, and feel even better—more energy, feel more alert. Nice that there is some “healthy thing to do” that has instant benefits (unlike diets, which seem to take weeks for noticeable change.)

I just tried an experiment. I woke up this morning with sinus congestion/pressure, a mild backache, and feeling bloated. I drank a pint of water over a period of 30 minutes, and I notice an improvement in all three. I think I’ll try another pint and see if I notice further improvement. Could a pint of water really make this much difference in just 30 minutes, or am I imagining things?
