Lost track... 19 months ago

I’ve probably done about 4 miles since I last logged my mileage. That’s a total of 9 miles for the week. That’s not as much as I thought I was doing. Today I only did a mile. Maybe will get out agan after dinner.

Not much in the way of hills though…52 feet elevation change according to gmap-pedometer.com

According to http://www.gmap-pedometer.com I went two miles on Sunday, elevation change: 65 feet. I will need to find hillier places to walk in a few weeks.



Getting in shape as fast as I can 20 months ago

I’m hoping to go on a walking holiday in the next month or so. I’ve mapped out a couple of routes, ranging from 3-10 miles. I just checked out http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ though and found out that the elevations are higher than it is here at home. I’m going to head out now to at least get used to my own hills (100 ft) around here, and to start increasing distance. I will have to drive an hour to find comparable hills to where I’ll be walking.
