help my mom get her kitchen floor repaired

well, she is officially moved in and getting settled. she got to use her first dishwasher she ever owned. she has two bathrooms, also a first! it has definitely been abig step up in her standard of living. thank you to the city of goldsboro for all you have done for my mom.

my mom now resides in a new modular home! it’s just around the corner from where she had lived over 40 years. she has two bathrooms for the first time in her life. plus she even has a dishwasher! this she refuses to use. there is also a laundry room/side door area and three bedrooms. the lord did shine on her to allow this wonderful thing to come full circle. now i don’t have to worry that she will fall through the kitchen floor! thank you lord!

well, just when we were about to give up because of problems encountered when the city re-development startedthe process—-an unreplaceable septic system that was going downhill daily among other things they gave my mother an alternate solution. they are willing to exchange a plot of land purchased by the city, build her a modular home on it for her plot of land and badly run down home. these people are like angels sent to help my mother out of her bad situation. i thank god daily for sending these hard working people into my mother’s and my life. i just hope the transition keeps going smoothly until she is moved in to her new home which will be just around the corner from her present home. may god bless these people for what they do to help people who cannot help themselves.

we did it! my mom got accepted for a grant to repair her kitchen floor and some other things to her home! thank the good lord for this good fortune. now all we have to do is figure out the logistics of moving her out while they do the repairs. any suggestions on how to move a 70 year old lady and all her many belongings accumulated over 40 years are gladly welcome.

we are another step closer. the rehab people will go out and access the crawl space next week. my mother is actually making plans to get rid of a few things so she will have less to put in storage when work begins on the repairs to the house. please lord, let this be accomplished with as much ease as possible.

well, we are closer to getting this done. playing phone tag became a learning experience. don’t just return a phone call—-leave a little more info each time you call. this way they get a better idea of why you are contacting them and if it matches up with what they have to offer.
