educate myself about colour

as I’m going to be doing some painting jobs soon, both for my own home and the business incubator I co-run. I’m always keen on it, it’s just that it’s more at the forefront of my mind now.

I bookmarked a thing about it today that I’ll read soon.

Still not doing anything about this, but I’d still very much like to. So, the last entry stands, but I just need to stop sitting on my arse about it.

I need a bit more of a concrete task. So how about read another article on colour by next time.

Well, I must admit I’d largely forgotten about this, which ain’t good methinks. I do want to restart, especially with regards to that fact that I want to start doing a lot more artwork.

But I want to restart it, and start reading articles… (cautiously).

I’ve got to commit to doing this a bit more, or it’ll never happen! So I’m committing to doing half an hour’s reading on it by next time.

I have been using a bit more colour in my work since starting this goal, which is great. Or maybe vice versa…

I’ve started reading some stuff, mainly just scanning articles on Wikipedia. I’ve not encountered a lot I didn’t already know yet (although I have encountered some). It’s mostly firming up knowledge I already have so far, which is useful in itself.

I also found a web site on colour theory that looks interesting.

I found what looks like a reallly good entry about it on WikiPedia about it, but I’ve not read it yet. I will do; it’s on my daily to do list.
