pay off really old bills

I sent out a round of requests to get new info on things that were on my credit report from 4-6 years ago….i got a nasty nasty reply from one of them-who i hadn’t gotten any info from for a few years, the lady said i have one week to pay off the entire thing or her company is taking me to court or whatever & i’d have to pay all the legal fees. well, being a single parent with all this sh*t to take care of-who’s not on assistance of anykind nor gets child support, working 60 plus hours a week, who REQUESTED the info with the INTENT to pay off the past due bill, i was super pissed…....so i sent the lady my own nasty letter and in a seperate envelope sent a check but couldn’t send the whole amount. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGG. so, we’ll see what happens with that one.
