It's all about connections...I hope

A writing collegue has e-mailed me. He has spoken to his publisher about my novel and has asked to take the first two chapters to her. I am honored by his faith in my writing. But I am also scared out of my gourd about what such a rejection - I am a realist after all - will do for my ego.
