save up 3 months worth of salary for emergencies

lol, well it’s not much, but i transferred 30 bucks into my savings…next paycheck on friday i’ll deposit at least another hundred, and use the rest of my extra money to work toward paying of my credit card….once it’s paid off then i can really start building up my savings. in a few months, i hope to be financially stable again, i miss it!

i have about $700 so far, and i’m enrolled in the bank of america’s “keep the change” plan….so i save everytime i buy something with my debit card, which is good cuz it makes me buy only what i have $$ for instead of charging it. plus they match what i save at the end of the year (upto $250 i think). going well so far, i know it’s not a lot, but it’s a lot more than i had a couple months ago!! haha only $4700 more to go :)

currently have $500 saved…..now just a few more thousand to go ;)

added $80 today, that’s at least more than i had :)

kept trying and was doing well, but then had to take most out for car repairs, so it’s a little discouraging….will start over next paycheck.
