read all the books I own

this week i’m continuing on w/ ATLAS SHRUGGED (Ayn Rand) and starting THE JOURNEYS OF SOCRATES (Dan Millman)...this was a recommendation, he said it would be the best book of my life and that i would love it and hate it at the same time.
i’m excited to start it!

started atlas shrugged last night..

also made a deal w/ the lil sis, 3 chapters a week of the last harry potter book since i never finished it..we’re both starting it over this sunday :)

finished “the fountainhead” last sunday….AMAZING book. also finished “your life only a gazillion times better” and 3/4 of “10 things women to do mess up their lives”...i started the sacred journey of the peacefull warrior by dan millman, but i’m not impressed so far, maybe i need to read the journey of socrates first…also re-reading “the renaissance soul” cuz i never finished it, and hopefully i can start “atlas shrugged” this weekend, i really love ayn rand’s writing and ideas..

i’m reading it soooo slow and carefully cuz every word matters in this book…but its okay, i like to read like that anyways. i’m addicted to the characters and their world and i hate that i can’t finish it TONIGHT!! but i still have another 500 pages or so to go, so i havta wait til my next two hour trip to the gym to bite into that, hopefully tomorrow :)
so yayyyy for the fountainhead! and yayyyy for reading!! it makes my heart happy

by Ayn Rand. it’s has some really interesting ideas. i’m on page 87 and i love it so far. hopefully will get to read for at least an hour tonight and get more into it, cuz it’s loooong :)

another worthy goal to complete by the end of the year…. :)

haha right now i’m reading “the straight girl’s guide to sleeping with chicks”.....it’s been very educational to say the least!! ;)

haha i keep ordering books off half.com even though i haven’t even finished the ones i’m reading right now!! i’m a weirdo. i guess i just like knowing they’re there for when i want to read them. neways one of the books i ordered yesterday was one of oprah’s favorites, and it’s called The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz. from amazon: “The four agreements are these: Be impeccable with your word. Don’t take anything personally. Don’t make assumptions. Always do your best. It’s the how and why one should do these things that make The Four Agreements worth reading and remembering.” i’m excited to read it, and i’m excited to finally finish harry potter this weekend!!
