i always listen to other people’s advice, and half of the time it gets me into trouble with myself. for instance, when i was applying to college, i was really interested in math. big brother comes around to tell me to do something practical, like electrical engineering. hey, now i’m not an electrical engineer (kinda of went through the motions during those four years and didn’t put much effort into my studies). i think that if i had studied math, i’d still be in the math field today (but then again, i wouldn’t be a baker now, would i?). that’s how my life is like because i trust other people’s opinions . . . but i should learn to trust my own.
